What to expect
The project includes an 18,000-square-foot addition, featuring a True Texas BBQ restaurant.
Other renovations shoppers can expect include:

- Expanded produce area
- Renovated meat and seafood market
- Replacement of refrigeration cases
- Expanded administrative offices and break areas for employees
Construction began in July 2023 with the expansion of the grocery store's parking lot.
In March 2024, the fuel pumps were temporarily out of service while officials built a new kiosk to add a restroom area for employees, according to city officials.
The grocery entrance and curbside areas were relocated in July 2024.
Store employees have worked around construction, inside and outside of the building, to keep the store open throughout the expansion.
Recently, officials reopened a section of the parking lot near the grocery store entrance. The area had been closed off during construction of the exterior facade, where the new True Texas BBQ restaurant will be located.
