Bastrop's Chick-fil-A reopened on May 15 following a series of restaurant renovations.

The Chick-fil-A had temporarily closed on April 30, and renovations include converting the drive thru window to a drive thru door, allowing Chick-fil-A workers to more directly access customers picking up their orders, according to an email from franchise owner and Austin native Ryan Saum.

The restaurant also expanded its drive through production capacity to increase service speed and added a breakroom.

"These restaurant modifications were made with our guest experience and our team member experience in mind, and I believe that both have been greatly positively impacted," Saum said in an email to Community Impact.
