Sound on Sound Fest organizers announced a series of rescheduled shows following the Oct. 6 cancelation of the event.

Sound on Sound Fest organizers announced Friday that the 2017 music festival is canceled.

According to an official statement, all ticket holders will be issued full refunds through the official ticketing partner, Eventbrite, within five to seven days. If attendees bought a physical ticket, they can email organizers to initiate the refund process.

The official statement cites “several recent roadblocks outside of our control” as a reason for the abrupt cancellation.

The announcement comes five weeks before the three-day festival was set to begin at Sherwood Forest, a 13-acre permanent renaissance village 35 miles east of downtown Austin.
