Looking for activities around town to attend this weekend? Check out these five Allen-area events planned for Feb. 5-8.

1. 'The Addams Family' the Musical School Edition
See a musical performance of “The Addams Family" by the Allen ISD Fine Arts Department. The show follows Wednesday Addams as she introduces her fiance to her family.
2. 'Men on Boats'
This comedic show directed by Martin Mussey follows a “true-ish” story of 10 explorers venturing through the Grand Canyon during an 1869 expedition, according to the Allen Contemporary Theater’s website. The show is rated R,= for strong adult language and drinking.
3. Allen Americans vs. Norfolk Admirals
The Allen Americans will host the Norfolk Admirals for two games this weekend. The Friday night game is “Scout’s Night,” presented by Scouting America. The Saturday game is Police vs. Fire night in support of local first responders, and will feature themed activities and recognition ceremonies.
4. AllenTines Day Wine Walk
This event, benefiting the Allen Heritage Guild, will feature wine and sweets at stops at more than 20 Watters Creek Village businesses and restaurants.
5. Allen Super Bowl Festival and Market
Kick off Super Bowl Sunday at The Hub with a family-friendly festival and market. The event will include local vendors and small businesses, food and drinks, and more.
