From hand-cut steaks to ice cream, bagels and more, check out these upcoming eateries coming to Bastrop.
Chuy’s
The eatery will be nestled within the upcoming 75-acre mixed-use development called Sendero. Chuy’s offers "Texas-sized plates that won't break the bank," featuring traditional Tex-Mex options like fajitas, tacos, enchiladas and burritos.
Einstein Bros. Bagels
The American chain is best known for its bagels, sandwiches, coffee and other baked goods.
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice
Local couple Jack and Aly Plimpton will offer dozens of flavors for their housemade Italian ice, ice cream and the brand’s “jelati”—a combination of the two. Jack Plimpton said the shop will feature a fun atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as walk-up windows.
Jersey Mike’s Subs
The fast-casual sandwich shop will offer nearly 30 hot and cold options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices. The East Coast-style sub shop will be opened by franchise owner Michael Jordan.
LongHorn Steakhouse
The restaurant serves a variety of fresh-cut steaks, seafood, chicken, lamb and more.
Scooter’s Coffee
The drive-thru coffee franchise will offer hot and iced drinks, including coffee, teas, lemonades and Red Bull infusions. Build-your-own smoothies and blenders will also be available, with add-ins like protein or energy shots, as well as breakfast food and baked goods.
Texas Roadhouse
The restaurant is known for its signature hand-cut steaks, ribs, various scratch-made sides and whipped honey cinnamon butter served with fresh-baked dinner rolls.
