UPDATED: Harris County Precinct 4 to distribute bottled and nonpotable water at 3 locations

Harris County Precinct 4 residents can receive bottled and nonpotable water from noon-5 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the following locations:

• Barbara Bush Branch Library, 6817 Cypresswood Drive, Spring
• Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Parkway, Humble
• Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve, 20215 Chasewood Park Drive, Houston

Precinct 4 is distributing bottled and non-potable water from noon to 5 p.m. today, Mon., Feb. 22, from these locations:

Barbara Bush Library

Humble Civic Center

Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve

Harris County Precinct 4 staff will continue to distribute nonpotable water to county residents Feb. 19 from noon-5 p.m. at the following locations:

• Burroughs Park, 9738 Huffsmith Road, Tomball
• Levy Park, 3801 Eastside St., Houston
• Humble Civic Center, 8233 Will Clayton Parkway, Humble
• Barbara Bush Branch Library, 6817 Cypresswood Drive, Spring
• Trini Mendenhall Community Center, 1414 Wirt Road, Houston

Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Jack Cagle's office posted on its social media pages just before 2 p.m. Feb. 18 that Cagle's staff will begin distributing nonpotable water until 5 p.m. Feb. 18 at four local parks. Nonpotable water is that which is not safe for drinking but can be used for other needs.

The water will be distributed at Burroughs Park in Tomball, Jones Park and Lindsay/Lyons Park in Humble, and Collins Park in Spring, according to the post.

County residents in need are asked to bring containers for the water, such as milk jugs or ice chests, and distribution is limited to 10 gallons per person.
