Nightly closures set May 31-June 2 for Hwy. 249 frontage road, Grand Parkway in Tomball

The Harris County Toll Road Authority announced two nightly closures in the Tomball area May 31-June 2 as construction continues on the direct connector project between the tolled portion of Hwy. 249 and the Grand Parkway.

Grand Parkway

The westbound lanes of the Grand Parkway will be fully closed nightly at Hwy. 249 from 9 p.m. May 31-5 a.m. June 2, according to the HCTRA. Drivers traveling on the Grand Parkway can detour to the frontage road at the Hwy. 249/Boudreaux Road/Rocky Road exit ramp. Traffic will re-enter the Grand Parkway at the Rocky entrance.

The southbound Hwy. 249 frontage road at the Grand Parkway will see a total closure nightly from 9 p.m. May 31-5 a.m. June 2, according to the HCTRA. Southbound drivers can detour by turning right on the westbound Grand Parkway frontage road, left onto Rocky and then turning left onto Boudreaux to the southbound Hwy. 249 frontage road.
