Lonestar Family Health has expanded its medical care work in Magnolia with the opening of the Magnolia Health Center—the sixth care facility in the area.
What they offer
According to a July 20 news release, the new Magnolia Health Center will offer underserved, underinsured and uninsured patients primary care across multiple avenues, including but not limited to:
- Family medicine
- Women’s health
- Pediatrics
- Geriatrics
- Dentistry
Over the past year, Lone Star has been breaking ground on new healthcare centers throughout the Greater Houston area.
As previously reported, last June, Lone Star celebrated the opening of a new expansion project in Conroe.
Something to know
The sixth new center serves as a milestone for the organization and the greater Magnolia community, said Karen Harwell, CEO of Lone Star Family Health Center.
“As Magnolia continues to grow, we are proud to bring comprehensive primary medical and dental services closer to home, making it easier for patients and families to receive the care they need,” Harwell said.
The Magnolia location will be staffed with experienced healthcare professionals such as family nurse practitioner Georjene Parker and dental providers Dr. Alissa Medina and Andrea St. Clair, RDH, according to a news release.
