Owned by Courtney Collins, Mahjong Rodeo opened a new location in Tomball on July 3. According to its website, Mahjong Rodeo is designed as a space for beginner and veteran mahjong players to gather together and enjoy the historical game.

Mahjong Rodeo hosts a wide variety of events aimed at both beginner and advanced mahjong players. These include Mahjong 101 and 102 classes as well as open play sessions with guided coaching from instructors.
According to its website, Mahjong Rodeo instructors “mix clear, patient coaching with playful themes, classic mahjong tips, and lively game nights that turn learning into an unforgettable social celebration.”
