Homes spent more days on the market in 7 ZIP codes in The Woodlands area in May

The number of homes sold increased in five ZIP codes and decreased in three ZIP codes in The Woodlands area tracked by Community Impact in May 2026 compared to May 2025, according to Christine Hale Realty Group. This finding does not include the 77354 ZIP code, which is also in The Woodlands area.

Median price was down in more than half of the ZIP codes in The Woodlands market in May, with only three ZIP codes seeing increases.

Homes spent more days on the market in all but one ZIP code in May in The Woodlands area, according to the data. The fewest number of days was 25 in the 77381 ZIP code and the longest number of days was 84 in the 77380 ZIP code.

Another detail

The largest share of homes sold in May, 156 homes, was in the $200,000-$399,999 range, comparable to previous months. The second-most popular price range was between $400,000-$599,999 with 119 homes also being sold. This is an increase from the range’s performance in April where only 99 homes were reportedly sold.

This month’s data also revealed that homes valued at $800,000 and above in The Woodlands area have begun to follow an increasing trend in overall home sales, rising from 57 homes sold in April to 88 homes sold in May.
