Texas Taco Company continues to open new restaurants in the Greater Houston area following the opening of the Magnolia location in August 2013.

"We think new Magnolia is an area that is growing very fast," manager Charlie Chen said. "A lot of people live around here, and there is less competition. We are different from a regular Mexican restaurant."

Texas Taco Company offers a variety of tacos, burritos, and chips and queso.

"The bestsellers are the homemade marinaded fajita steak and chicken tacos," Chen said. "My favorite is the grilled tilapia topped with cilantro, mango and sour cream."

Texas Taco Company recently opened its third Houston restaurant, at 6166 Hwy. 6 North.

"The new one at Highway 6 has been growing every week," Chen said. "[In Magnolia] we are hitting a point where we can not go a little farther because the dining room here is quite small, we already did the best we could."

The chain has plans to continue growing by opening several additional locations in the next couple of months throughout Houston, Chen said.
