DATA: The Woodlands area homes selling faster, for higher prices

Data compiled by Allen Sims Real Estate Group from seven The Woodlands area ZIP codes—77380, 77381, 77382, 77384, 77385, 77386 and 77389—shows that home sales and average prices increased from mid-2020 to mid-2021 compared to the previous year. In addition, homes were on the market for fewer days on average in each ZIP code.

Home sales prices increase

Average home sales prices in seven ZIP codes in The Woodlands area increased when comparing numbers from June 2019-May 2020 and numbers from June 2020-May 2021. The highest increase was in the 77380 ZIP code, where prices increased about 33% during that time period.

Fewer days on the market

The number of days a home was on the market in The Woodlands area from June 2020-May 2021 was less than the number of days in the same time period in the previous year. The largest increase was in the 77386 ZIP code, where homes were on the market an average of 45% less time.

More homes sold across the market

In each of the seven ZIP codes examined in The Woodlands area, more homes were sold from June 2020-May 2021 than in June 2018-May 2020.
