The year starts off with opportunities for ice skating at The Woodlands Town Center as well as a model train exhibit on display at The Woodlands Children's Museum. This list is not comprehensive, and events are subject to change.
Model train exhibit and Storybook Theatre
The Woodlands Children's Museum presents a miniature model train display from the All Points North Model Railroad Association, culminating with a Storybook Theatre on Jan. 9 featuring the book "Circus Train" by Jennifer Cole Hudd. The train display features a Ferris wheel, carousel, roller coaster, moving parade and an animated big top tent, according to a news release from the museum. The display will be active from Jan. 6-9, when museum hours are 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday.
