Boni's Dance & Performing Arts Studio is set to put on its 40th annual performances of "The Nutcracker" at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Attendees are invited to follow Clara's journey through the land of snow and see the battle between the Nutcracker and the Mouse King brought to life by local dancers.
What they're saying
“Reaching the 40th anniversary of 'The Nutcracker' is incredibly special," said Boni Schuetz, owner of Boni's Dance & Performing Arts Studio. "For four decades, this production has brought generations of dancers, families, and audiences together through the magic of dance and the spirit of the holiday season. We are so proud of the dancers who have been part of this tradition over the years, and we are grateful to our families, supporters and community for helping us keep this beautiful tradition alive. It is especially meaningful that our Nutcracker events also allow us to give back to local charities and make a positive difference beyond the stage.”
Proceeds will go to local charities and organizations such as Kids Meals Inc., Love Fosters Hope, Cassidy Joined For Hope, Sleep In Heavenly Peace and more. Both days will have a matinee performance that starts at 3 p.m. and an evening performance at 7:45 p.m.
