Two art festivals are coming to The Woodlands this fall, on the weekend of Sept. 26-27 and on Oct. 17. A juried art exhibit is planned by The Woodlands Arts Council this fall, as is the annual exhibit of The Woodlands Photography Club.

Fine Craft, Art & Design Show
The Woodlands Arts Council's third annual show brings together 60 juried artists and designers from across the country for an indoor event featuring original paintings, mixed media, ceramics, glass, wood, furniture, decorative fiber, jewelry, leather, wearable art and more.
The event also includes live music, artist booth talks and other experiences.
The Woodlands Arts Council is inviting adult members of The Woodlands Art League and the Conroe Art League to submit original work for "The Art of Belonging," a juried exhibition celebrating the role art leagues play in bringing artists together. Members have until Sept. 30 to submit artwork with a fee of $20 per entry, and a total of 30 works will be chosen for the exhibit, according to event organizers. An opening reception will be held Nov. 12.
Market Street will showcase the work of local artists, including paintings, photography, jewelry, metalwork, sculptures, digital art, mixed media and more.
More than 30 artists will be featured at this year’s show. In case of inclement weather, the show will be moved to Saturday, Oct. 24.
“Now in its 21st year, the Fall Fine Arts Show is one of the most highly anticipated events we host here at Market Street,” said Market Street Marketing Director John Pearson. “We are proud to be able to feature works by incredibly talented artists from our community.”
