Instrument Petting Zoo
This interactive experience on will offer children a hands-on introduction to the world of music by allowing them to see, hear and play a collection of orchestral instruments. In partnership with the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, this event is included in the price of general admission into The Woodlands Children’s Museum.

The Woodlands Farmers Market at Grogan’s MillThis local farmers market is sponsored by the Grogan’s Mill Village Association and brings a variety of prepared foods, beverages, and other goods and services from over 60 vendors to community members every Saturday, rain or shine.
Family Game NightThe Kevin Brady Library welcomes patrons and families to an evening of games, light snacks and playful competition. This event is open to patrons of all ages with accommodations available at least three days in advance.
Family Bingo NightJoin The Woodlands Township for a night of friendly competition, prizes and old-fashioned bingo cards. This monthly summer event is open to guests of all ages with small concessions being available for purchase. Preregistration is highly recommended.
Starlight SwansRiva Row Boat House invites families to take a trip down The Woodlands Waterway as they pedal through the water using swan-shaped boats to explore local outdoor sights.

Moonlight PaddleAttendees can experience serenity in Lake Woodlands with this recurring after-dark event. Passengers in a single or tandem kayak will be guided by staff through illuminated canals and around Aria Island. Preregistration is required.
Friday Night HeightsFriday Night Heights is a thrilling two-hour night climb on Texas TreeVentures’ aerial adventure course in The Woodlands. Participants can explore a new perspective of the park as they swing over lit-up scenery and the nature trails below. Bookings by phone or online are recommended in advance of the event.
Ultimate Duck DashThe Rob Fleming Aquatic Center is hosting a family-friendly toy duck racing event where participants can decorate a duck, send it down the lazy river and cheer it on to victory. Registration is required to enter a duck in the festivities.
Yes to Youth Gala 2026The nonprofit youth organization, specializing in offering support to children in crisis, is hosting its annual gala under the theme “Every Child Deserves an Ever After.” Attendees are invited to join the Yes to Youth organization as it champions children in need and recognizes the greater community for its continued support.
Morning with a MermaidChildren ages 3-10 can enjoy a swim session with a mermaid as part of The Woodlands Township’s aquatic program. The event includes underwater games, seaside crafts, storytelling and mermaid-themed skill building. Participants can choose between two time slots when registering to match their child’s swimming abilities.
A Night to Shine: Masquerade GalaClass Act Productions is celebrating 31 years of putting on shows for The Woodlands and surrounding areas with a one-night-only masquerade gala. Black-tie attire is optional at this event, though masquerade masks and fashion are encouraged.
2026 Chairman’s BallJoin The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce as they honor Justin Kendrick, chair of the chamber's board of directors, for his service throughout the 2025-26 calendar year.
The Walk 2026: A Black and White BallProceeds from the event will benefit the programs and services offered by Interfaith of The Woodlands to support those experiencing crisis in South Montgomery County. The event will feature a New York-style runway fashion show.
Prevailing HOPE LuncheonChild Advocates of Montgomery County are holding the inaugural Prevailing HOPE: A Gathering for Good luncheon. The event is focused on uplifting children in crisis and features keynote speaker Amelia Rose Earhart.
Senior Game DayThe Kevin Brady Library invites game lovers 19 and up to this event that is all about the classics. From board games to card decks, attendees can connect with other members of the community and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
Young Makers MarketAttendees can shop original artisan pieces and crafts in this mini-arts festival at Market Street dedicated to empowering student artists grades 3-12. The event is produced by The Woodlands Arts Council.
