The Climbing Tree at Christ Church Methodist announced in March it is celebrating 25 years of early childhood ministry this year in August, and as of March it has unified both its traditional school-year program, Christ Church Preschool, and its full-day program The Climbing Tree under one name in the 2026-27 year.
According to information from The Climbing Tree, its approach emphasizes play-based exploration, critical thinking and character development. The traditional program serves children ages 12 months through private kindergarten and follows the Conroe ISD academic calendar, and the full-day program serves children ages six weeks through private kindergarten.
Quote of note
“This rebrand brings clarity to who we are as one ministry,” Program Director Laura Hickey said. “Whether families choose our traditional school-day hours or our full-day, year-round option, children experience the same Christ-centered foundation, the same developmentally appropriate hands-on learning, and the same intentional focus on faith formation and character development. Our heart has always been to partner with parents as they guide their children spiritually and academically.”
