Houston residents will experience a taste of New York City during the 12th annual Wine & Food Week, which uncorks in The Woodlands on June 6.
Presented by Food & Vine Time Productions, Wine & Food Week is a seven-day extravaganza that is considered to be the largest and most comprehensive culinary and wine event from New Orleans to Aspen, Colorado. This year’s event theme is “New York State of Mind.” The event draws an average crowd of approximately 11,000 patrons to The Woodlands each year.
“[Wine & Food Week] sells out the Marriott and multiple hotels around the area,” said Constance McDerby, Food & Vine Time Productions founder. “It brings people to the event who stay in The Woodlands, eat at the restaurants and shop at the stores, so it has a tremendous economic impact for the area.”
It will feature annual favorites like H-E-B Wine Walk at Market Street and It’s a Guy Thing along with new events like Women, Wine and All Things Fashionable. The weeklong event features more than 500 wines and food from 75 restaurants.
