The Howard Hughes Corporation will hand over control of the Band Shell and Boardwalk at Hughes Landing to The Woodlands Township during a ceremony Dec. 16, the corporation announced in a news release Dec. 12. According to the news release, both entities entered into a Comprehensive Community Services Agreement, in which both organizations contributed to amenities including the Hughes Landing band shell, boardwalk and water garden—which had been previously conveyed to the township. The Band Shell and Boardwalk—home to community events including the Rock the Row concert series and the annual Arbor Day celebration—will be conveyed to the township Dec. 16 beginning at 5:15 p.m. at Hughes Landing, located at 1900 Hughes Landing Blvd., The Woodlands.
