More homes were sold in Sugar Land- and Missouri City-area ZIP codes in November compared to last November, with 200 homes sold versus 182 last year. However, fewer homes were sold than last month in October, when 236 homes were sold across five local ZIP codes.

Two out of five local ZIP codes saw more home sales year over year, with ZIP code 77498 seeing the largest percentage increase in sales at 86.67%. Meanwhile, ZIP code 77459 was the most active for home sales at 78, a slight drop than the 80 homes sold during the same month last year.

What else

The median home sales price decreased in three of five local ZIP codes year over year. The largest dip was in the 77459 ZIP code, which saw a 6.1% increase. ZIP code 77479 in Sugar Land had the highest median home sales price among the five at $545,000.

Homes in the $250,000-$449,999 price range continue to sell the most frequently, with 92 homes sold.

Meanwhile, the average number of days homes spent on the market increased in four local ZIP codes. The highest average number of days on the market for the month was in ZIP code 77459 with 85 days.
