10 parks to explore in Sugar Land and Missouri City

The park covers 107 acres and includes a fishing lake, a gazebo, a skatepark, a nine-hole disc golf course, a playground with a zipline and a gazebo. Additionally, the park in Missouri City includes soccer fields, trails, softball fields, basketball courts and a sand volleyball court. Fishermen of all ages can catch catfish in the lake in Community Park. A fishing license is not required for visitors under age 17. Lost Creek Park

Lost Creek Park is a 21-acre community park next to Oyster Creek Park. Among the park's amenities are soccer fields, a playground, a picnic pavilion with a concession stand, restrooms and a large parking lot. Mayfield Park

The 4.3-acre Mayfield Park is located near the historic Imperial Sugar Refinery and the Sugar Land Heritage Museum & Visitor Center. The park features a rock-lined pond with a water feature and a bridge overlooking Oyster Creek. Located on over 111 acres, the park includes a 3-mile hiking and biking trail, a greenbelt trail, restrooms, five picnic tables with grills, a drinking fountain, benches and public art pieces.
