Sugar Land officials approved a $1.3 million performance-based incentive to support the expansion of DeliverIt Group, a Sugar Land-based specialty pharmacy and healthcare provider.
The family-owned company, which has been in Sugar Land since 2010, provides specialty pharmacy, infusion therapy and advanced clinical care services, officials said in a July 8 news release.

The DeliverIt Group plans to invest nearly $11.9 million to develop a 60,000-square-foot Food and Drug Administration-registered, cGMP-compliant 503B outsourcing facility in Sugar Land Business Park to expand the company’s capabilities into advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing, per the release. The new project is expected to create 55 new jobs.
The incentive, which is funded through the Sugar Land Development Corp. 4A sales tax program, will be distributed over a 10-year period and is tied to performance milestones related to job creation and capital investment.

"Our focus on smart, strategic investment means supporting life sciences innovators in ways that maximize existing assets while driving long-term community prosperity.”
