Fort Bend County Commissioners Court to consider FY 2023-24 purchases, cancels burn ban

Fort Bend County Commissioners Court will consider $22.7 million of capital acquisitions at a regular Oct. 10 meeting.

The purchases that the court will consider consist of vehicles, vehicle equipment and various capital improvement projects. A full list of the capital acquisitions can be viewed here.

Commissioners Court will also officially record into the meeting minutes the cancellation of the countywide burn ban as of Oct. 6.

Other items that will be considered by the court at the meeting include:

• Authorizing advertising for bids on the mobility project reconstructing and widening McCrary Road
• Nominating candidates for the Fort Bend Central Appraisal District for the 2024-25 term
