Several governmental meetings are scheduled this week and a fire safety program is offered at a local library, among other things to know this week.

  1. The Klein ISD board of trustees holds its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at 7200 Spring-Cypress Road, Spring. The full agenda can be viewed at www.kleinisd.net.
  2. Harris County Commissioners Court will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the courtroom on the ninth floor of the Harris County Administration Building, 1001 Preston St., Houston. A copy of the full agenda on the county website.

  5. Children can join Harris County Precinct 4 staff members and volunteers for a day on the water to learn canoeing basics and safety this Thursday.
