The Southern Stand, a food truck offering Southern fare, will hold a grand opening Oct. 20-21 at Plants For All Seasons, 21328 Hwy. 249, Houston. The food trucks will offer beef brisket, shrimp and grits, chicken jambalaya and shrimp and oyster po'boys as well as other southern staples. The parking lot at Plants For All Seasons will serve as the food truck's primary location, where it will be open 5-8 p.m. Thursdays and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
