A joint project by Harris County Precinct 4 and Champions Municipal Utility District received six bids July 9. The project will upgrade the two-lane asphalt road to concrete lanes at Champions Drive between FM 1960 and Cypress Creek. A construction schedule will be identified after the award phase, said Pamela Rocchi, Precinct 4 capital improvements program director.
