A project to increase the number of lanes on Hwy. 249 from six to eight between Chasewood Park Drive and Gregson Road in Tomball is scheduled to go out for bids in July. The anticipated starting date is late summer or early fall. The project will convert the inside shoulders to a fourth lane in both the north and south directions.
