Communities near Cypress and Spring creeks were among those most affected by flooding in Spring and Klein in late August. Several buildings on Cypresswood Drive—including the Harris County Courthouse annex and Cypress Creek Cultural District facilities—were heavily damaged, and local emergency responders conducted numerous rescues in neighboring communities.
