Precinct 4 received bids for the first phase of the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality project on Cypresswood Drive on Aug. 13, and a construction schedule will be set after the project is awarded, Rocchi said. Harris County will fund 20 percent of the project, and TxDOT will fund 80 percent. The project includes installing traffic signals at various intersections, including Hickory Twig Way, Whitewood Drive and Lockridge Drive.
