The Spring Fire Department has rescued nearly 100 people due to flooding from Tropical Storm Imelda, SFD Communications Director Tracee Evans said Sept. 19. Firefighters are targeting the east side of Spring, including the Postwood, North Spring, Sandpiper Trails, Fairfax Village and Birnamwood neighborhoods and subdivisions, Evans said.
