Two major facilities projects funded by the $330 million Spring ISD bond referendum in 2016 are expected to begin work in early 2018. Two architectural firms presented floor plans and renderings to the SISD board of trustees at its regular meeting Tuesday night, outlining the projects to renovate a building for the SISD Police Department and to build a new districtwide stadium. The board also heard a presentation from an organization that helps low-income students attend college, and the board held a public hearing on SISD's annual financial accountability rating.
