The Texas Education Agency released the district's A-F ratings Aug. 15, showing KISD maintained its ‘B’ rating with 88 out of 100 points, a two-point increase from the previous year, according to previous Community Impact reporting.
A-F ratings provide information on school and district performance to serve as a tool for parents, educators, policymakers and local communities to make informed decisions regarding student success, according to a TEA news release.
