Locally-owned restaurant Tavo's Mexican Grill will permanently close its Spring location May 31, the business announced on social media.

The Tex-Mex restaurant decided not to continue the lease for its Spring location along FM 2920, citing "very challenging" times for the business, according to the post.
"We want to sincerely thank all of our loyal customers, friends and employees who have supported us throughout these past three years," the May 25 Facebook post reads. "Your support and loyalty have meant the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for every meal shared, every visit and every memory created at Tavo's Mexican Grill Spring."
