Several restaurants have opened their doors in Spring and Klein over the past several weeks. Check out the announcements you may have missed below. This list is not comprehensive.
1. I-45 Diner opened a second location in Spring on Dec. 20.
On the menu: I-45 Diner serves breakfast staples, such as pancakes, waffles and breakfast burritos; American fare, such as pot roast and chicken fried steak; and Tex-Mex cuisine, including fajitas and enchiladas.
3. Panicafe, an Argentinian bakery and coffee shop, opened Dec. 9.
On the menu: Baked goods such as bagels, croissants and cookies; breakfast and lunch options such as sandwiches and salads; and a variety of coffees and teas are served here.
5. Crypto Burger, a family-owned food truck, launched its newest location Dec. 15.
On the menu: The burger eatery is known for its freshly seasoned and prepared beef burgers, with featured menu items including the Brekky Burger topped with cheese, a hash brown, bacon, a fried egg, cayenne pepper and FOMO sauce; and the El Jefe Burger—a Mexican-spiced beef patty topped with serrano peppers, onions, bacon, extra hot cayenne pepper sauce, shredded cheese and spicy garlic sauce.
On the menu: The eatery has three additional locations and offers seasonal dishes with vegan and vegetarian options. Menu items include wraps, platters and loaded friends with ingredients such chicken, falafel and fish as well as signature sauces.
On the menu: Rusty Horseshoe Bar and Grill offers a menu of cocktails such as Texas Gold Rush—made with Texas bourbon, lemon juice and honey—and Pink Panther Lemonade, which is made with vodka, cream of coconut, lemonade and cranberry. The bar and grill’s entrees include salads, chicken wings, burgers and sandwiches.
8. Bojangles opened Feb. 4 as part of the North Carolina-based brand’s larger expansion into Texas.
On the menu: Bojangles serves hand-breaded boneless chicken, including tenders and sandwiches. Side options include fries, dirty rice, baked macaroni and cheese, and cole slaw. Salads, biscuits, desserts and milkshakes are also on the menu, and breakfast is served daily until 2 p.m.
9. Mama's Pizza opened its first Greater Houston-area location in Spring on Dec. 14.
On the menu: The eatery offers signature and build-your-own pizzas with size options ranging from 8-20 inches. The pizzeria also offers salads, sandwiches, wings and desserts, and offers a lunch buffet from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Mon.-Sat. for $15 per person.
On the menu: The eatery serves burgers, including vegan options, as well as fries and shakes. The restaurant's classic Bamburger is a burger made with an Angus beef patty blend, American cheese, caramelized onions and bamsauce on a potato bun.
