A new gymnastics studio led by Olympic gold medalist Dominique Dawes is preparing to open in the Spring area.

Officials with Dominique Dawes Academy confirmed the Spring location is preparing for an August 22 grand opening following the academy's first location opening in Jersey Village in May.
“We're so excited to open our doors in Spring, building on everything we've learned and achieved in Jersey Village," founder Dominique Dawes said. "Spring is a wonderfully family-centered community, and after the response we saw in Jersey Village, we knew this was the right place to grow. We can't wait to create another space where kids feel encouraged, supported, and inspired.”
