“We try to carry things with different price points to help make all customers feel comfortable and welcome,” Rametta said.

“If we don’t have what you need or want, we can get it or make it,” she said.

Common services include soldering broken necklaces and bracelets, repairing or replacing clasps, resizing rings and tightening stones. The team can also take a customer’s existing diamond and place it into a new setting, giving a meaningful stone an updated look.

Watch services range from battery replacements and bracelet adjustments to more extensive repairs. Rametta said Montes brings years of watchmaking and repair experience and will tackle some older watches other shops may decline to service.

That can be especially meaningful for customers attached to watches or jewelry they have owned for decades.

“In quite a few cases, it's been many years since the piece of jewelry was restored to like-new condition, and they almost forgot what it was supposed to look like,” Rametta said.
