Law Offices of Jeremy W. McKey handles personal injury cases with dedication, care

Law Offices of Jeremy W. McKey handles personal injury cases with dedication, care

Sponsored by: Law Offices of Jeremy W McKey

Personal injury cases can be tough, but for those seeking experienced legal representation, the Law Offices of Jeremy W. McKey is here to help.

In this Q&A, Community Impact spoke with lawyer and owner Jeremy McKey to discuss the types of cases his firm handles, his approach to fighting for clients and what sets his firm apart in the competitive world of personal injury law.

What types of cases does the Law Offices of Jeremy W McKey handle?

Jeremy McKey:
We focus on personal injury law, specifically auto accidents, pedestrian accidents and commercial trucking accidents. We also handle slip-and-fall accidents, wrongful death cases and other personal injury matters. Our firm is dedicated to helping individuals who have been injured and are seeking legal help from experienced lawyers. Whether it’s a car wreck, a fall at a business or a tragic wrongful death situation, we provide legal services to help victims seek the compensation they deserve.

What makes Law Offices of Jeremy W McKey stand out from other law firms handling similar cases?

Jeremy McKey:
What sets us apart is our willingness to go to court when necessary. Many large law firms will settle cases with insurance companies quickly, but we take on the big insurance companies and corporations head-on. These are companies with nearly unlimited resources, and we’re not afraid to challenge them. It’s part of what we do well—we’re comfortable going all the way to trial.

How do you approach different types of personal injury cases?

Jeremy McKey:
Every case is unique, and there's no one size fits all approach. We evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the case and spend time with our clients to thoroughly understand their situation. We also try to anticipate the strategies of the other side—especially the insurance companies. By knowing the tendencies of the other side, including the specific insurance company and/or opposing counsel, we can better prepare and position our clients for the best possible outcome.

How do you build trust with clients who might find legal matters intimidating?

Jeremy McKey:
Honesty is key. We are always open and transparent with our clients about the good, the bad and the ugly of their case. I think it’s important to explain the full range of possible outcomes, even if we can't guarantee a specific result. We work hard to make sure our clients understand the process and feel confident that we're prepared. Like a good coach, we anticipate the moves of the opposing team, so when challenges arise, we can navigate them effectively.

What advice would you give to someone who has been injured in an accident but is unsure whether they should consult a lawyer?

Jeremy McKey:
I strongly recommend reaching out to a lawyer as soon as possible. Sometimes injuries, such as whiplash from a car accident, might seem minor at first, but they can worsen over time. If you settle with an insurance company too early, you might not realize the full extent of your injuries and could be leaving money on the table. Having a knowledgeable lawyer on your side ensures that you’re not rushing into a decision and that you're protecting your long-term health and financial well-being.

How can someone get in touch with you if they want to work with the Law Offices of Jeremy W McKey?

Jeremy McKey:
The best way to get in touch with us is by calling our office at 214-855-8788. You can also visit our website, where we have an online portal for submitting inquiries. Whether it's a question about a potential case or a legal consultation, someone from our office will reach out to you promptly.
