While working for several auto body shops, Salguero and his wife, Karla, opened Alex Paint & Body Shop in 2004.
“When we started in 2004, it was just Karla and I, and not much business walking through the door, but through the grace of God, we kept getting busier as the years went by. We grew our team and our family,” Salguero said.
The business is currently located at 545 E. Main St. in Lewisville. In the 20 years it’s been open, the business has continued to provide excellent and quick service to the community.

“These past 20 years have been a blessing. We started the business from scratch, and here we are, all these years later,” Salguero said.
This year, Salguero was also named Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce 2023 Entrepreneur of the Year. Having been a member of the chamber since 2007, Salguero was recognized for his commitment to service, integrity and excellence.
“We feel very proud to be in this country. We love this country, and all the opportunities that we've had with my own American dream together with my wife,” Salguero said. “We feel very proud to be a part of this community and any other cities around Lewisville.”
