Individuals 62 and up who are looking for a place to call home can find their community at ArborView Circle C Ranch. The 62-plus community offers a maintenance-free lifestyle for Texas adults who are ready to live active lives without the everyday stresses of owning a home.

The community is founded on three pillars:
  • Sharpen your mind.
  • Strengthen your body.
  • Share your gifts.
Through the three pillars, the community plans a variety of events and experiences to enrich residents’ lives. Sales specialists, Jami Coleman and Zachary Brooks, said residents can customize their living experiences to their liking and have so much to look forward to at ArborView.

Living maintenance-free in a senior community

At ArborView, residents get to have a full, active lifestyle complete with all the luxuries of having a home—without the responsibility of homeownership. Active adult communities do not provide any food plans, transportation, or health assistance. It is a home to enjoy without the yard work, home repairs or required upkeep.

“We like to refer to it as a cruise ship on land,” Coleman said. “You have your freedom and independence and can have a super fun time without worrying about maintenance.”

With everything residents could need right at home, everyone is free to enjoy life without being strapped down by the responsibilities of homeownership.

Community and amenities

Keeping true to its mission, ArborView offers plenty of opportunities for residents to stay active and get social.

Brooks said most residents start their mornings off at a Coffee Club, an event where residents can mingle and chat over their morning brew. After coffee, residents tend to branch off into different activities.

Residents can drop by for one of the weekly fitness classes, swim a few laps in the pool, play a game of pickleball or take their dog for a stroll on the walking trails.

All regularly scheduled activities, classes and on-site events are included with residents’ monthly rent. The amenities at the resort-style community are extensive and help residents live their best lives.

Some amenities include:
  • on-site hair salon
  • swimming pool and spa
  • library
  • community garden with raised beds
  • dog park
  • craft room
  • clubroom lounge and community kitchen with coffee bar and wine fridge
  • nearby walking and biking trail
  • chef-inspired kitchen in each apartment
  • 24-hour fitness center
  • pet-friendly community
Brooks said the trailhead is particularly popular at ArborView, and a small group of walkers head that way after coffee. Around 2 p.m., the group will reconvene for games in the clubhouse. If it’s Wednesday, game time naturally transitions into happy hour in the clubroom lounge, Brooks said.

Located at 12100 Archeleta Blvd., Austin, ArborView Circle C Ranch is just 10 minutes away from shopping, dining and entertainment. Coleman said residents get the best of both worlds, because even though shopping is just 10 minutes away, the natural views at ArborView can’t be beat.

“You get city access with country views,” Coleman said. “We have amazing natural scenery, and we're located right next to a nature preserve.”

Transitioning from a house to the ArborView Circle C community

While ArborView doesn’t offer in-house movers, the location works closely with several moving companies as well as Marketplace Homes. The ArborView staff can help prospective residents get connected with the resources they need to sell their homes and move into the community.

“Our goal is definitely to be a one-stop-shop,” Coleman said. “Whether you need a notary, salon, healthcare or someone to come clean and organize, we have it all.”

To qualify for residency at ArborView Circle C, guests must be screened through a background and consumer credit check. In addition, all applicants per home must make 2.5 times the monthly rent in gross income and be 62 years of age or above.

“We really want [residents] to enjoy the time that they're here,” Coleman said. “And throughout the years, we hope they travel, have fun and make new friends. Our goal is for residents to enjoy having fun with their community.”
