New Braunfels' newest neighborhood: Highland Homes selling 50- and 60-foot homesites in Mayfair neighborhood

Sponsored by: Highland Homes

Highland Homes is offering future residents first pick at Mayfair, the newest neighborhood in New Braunfels. Just south of Austin and north of San Antonio, the community is slated to become a hometown destination featuring trails, parks, entertainment and shopping.

Tina Anderson, a sales counselor at Highland Homes, can help anyone looking for their future home find a perfect fit. Mayfair is being developed by Southstar Communities, which developed one of the most reputable neighborhoods in New Braunfels, she said.

“There’s such a grand plan for the future community,” Anderson said. “It’s really going to be a destination. Mayfair intends for the residents to really live out their lives in many different ways within the area.”

On the market

Highland Homes will be selling a mix of 50- and 60-foot-wide lots, both of which offer residents amenities that go above and beyond. Anderson said the vision for Mayfair is a one-stop-shop for individuals to live, and the community has something for everyone.

Everyone is welcome in Mayfair, and the community has the plans to prove it.

Anderson said one of the options she’s most excited about during the introductory selling phase are the greenbelt homesites.

“Those beautiful greenbelt lots are going to be part of the introductory selling phase, and I'll be offering those with the best premiums you could ask for on them,” Anderson said.

If Mayfair sounds like the perfect place to live, play and work, now is the time to act. For a limited time, Highland Homes is pre-selling homes with an introductory pricing period. During this periodHighlands Homes will offer fantastic deals, Amore said.

Amenities and open space

Over 300 acres of public parks and recreational open space are planned for the community, which will be connected by 35 miles of hike-and-bike trails. Mayfair residents can also look forward to two amenity centers, a disc golf course, a bike pump track and more. Highland Homes Marketing Manager Tiffany Amore said developers have already started working on Fairway Park, the first public park in the community.

Anderson said something unique about Mayfair is the variety of options available to residents.

“It's really important for people to live in a great community and have good neighbors, but it’s also important to not be surrounded by houses—you need some open space,” she said. “Mayfair is already dedicating tons of acreage to that.”

As far as entertainment, Mayfair is planning a commercial district called Midtown on the I-35 corridor. The district will feature shopping, dining and workplaces. A Mayfair business park is also taking shape in the community—stay tuned for more commercial information and opportunities.

School district and central location

Mayfair is located in Comal County and Comal ISD. Families with children can look forward to their students aiming high at the high-rated schools in the district. Students would currently be zoned for Oak Creek Elementary and Canyon Middle and High schools. In the future, developers plan to partner with Comal ISD to build more schools in the area.

New to New Braunfels? The area is perfectly positioned for access to some of the area’s most popular events and activities, including Comal River tubing, Schlitterbahn sliding, Wurstfest celebrations and live music at Gruene Hall.

Find your Mayfair home

For those interested in purchasing a home in Mayfair, Amore said the time to reach out is now. The Mayfair community is expecting to see high demand due to how large the project is and all the exciting plans the developers have for the neighborhood, she said.

Ready to call Mayfair home? Call 512-834-8444 for 60-foot homesites or 512-834-8971 for 50-foot homesiters. Find more information about the destination community with a home town vibe on the website.
