Families can enjoy live music, children’s activities, local vendors and more at the First United Bank Fall Festival from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Tupps Brewery, 402 E. Louisiana St., McKinney.
The free community festival will feature live performances by The Dustin Perkins Band and Chaz Marie. Activities will include a bounce house, kids' activities and opportunities for attendees to shop and support local businesses.
This year’s event benefits Community Garden Kitchen, a McKinney nonprofit working to address food insecurity through meals, education and community programs.
Since June 2022, Community Garden Kitchen has served more than 160,000 meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Its restaurant-style meal program provides guests with an opportunity to dine with dignity. The organization partners with local food pantries and community organizations to help extend its reach.
"We truly believe this is a special organization doing incredible work, and this event is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together, have fun and make a lasting impact in our community," Spend Life Wisely Ambassador Jessica Streber said.
