e3storage in Grapevine officially opened its doors in early April. While the facility offers a secure place to store vehicles, the concept is designed to go further, combining high-end storage with professional workspace and a private community.

e3storage Grapevine is the 10th location to be established on the e3storage platform. Founded in 2010, e3storage has opened several locations across the Southeast before expanding its footprint into Texas. From the start, the model has centered on solving the limitations of the home garage or HOA regulations, giving automotive enthusiasts a dedicated environment where they can store, maintain and enjoy their vehicles alongside like-minded owners.

Why Grapevine?

The Grapevine location was born when a father-son duo, Nate and Rey Gonzalez, approached the company with the goal of bringing its concept to a city steeped in car culture.

The site, positioned near local car events, Downtown Grapevine and the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, offers convenience and accessibility. Members can easily stop in from nearby neighborhoods, swap their daily driver for their stored car to go to area car meets or use their space in e3storage Grapevine as a convenient spot to park their vehicle while traveling, avoiding the cost and limitations of airport parking.

A look inside the lifestyle

At e3storage, members have 24/7 access to a clean, well-designed facility where they can store everything from motorcycles to collector cars. The space includes a lounge, kitchen, Wi-Fi and fully equipped work areas, supporting both hands-on projects and day-to-day use.

“It’s every car guy or car gal’s dream garage,” e3storage co-founder Clyde Hill said.

Members use the space in various ways. Some stop by occasionally to check on their vehicles or swap cars for the weekend. Others spend hours working on projects, researching repairs or even using the space as a work-from-home alternative.

However, the defining feature is accessibility.

Members span a wide range of ages and experience levels, with vehicles ranging from entry-level project cars to high-end exotics. That shared interest naturally leads to conversation, collaboration and, in some cases, long-term connections.

For example, at one e3storage location, members came together to complete a restoration project after a fellow member passed away, finishing the car in his honor.

How membership works

e3storage offers a flexible membership model, designed to fit different needs.

Members can start with a club membership, which provides entry to the facility and use of shared amenities, including the lounge, work areas and equipment. From there, they can add storage options depending on what each member needs, ranging from space for a single vehicle to larger setups for multiple cars, tools or trailers.

More than a place to park

At its core, e3storage in Grapevine is designed to be more than a place to store vehicles; it’s a space where people can engage with them and with each other.

It’s where a quick stop can turn into an afternoon, and where a hobby that might otherwise stay at home becomes something more social, collaborative and connected.
