Mayfair’s third annual Mayfest on May 9 features live music, a local market, hands-on activities and model home tours, making it more than a typical master-planned community event.
The free festival invites visitors to explore the New Braunfels community while enjoying family-friendly experiences, food and entertainment.

“Mayfest is the perfect time for people to experience the Mayfair lifestyle - enjoy the festivities, spend time in the community, meet the people living here and get a first-hand look at how homes, parks, schools and gathering spaces come together,” Vice President of Marketing Kristi Robinson said.

Find your home
Mayfest is a great opportunity to tour Mayfair’s model homes and see the community’s growing housing options.
Visitors can explore 12 single-family model homes from seven builders, including Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Coventry Homes, David Weekley Homes and Scott Felder Homes. Two new D.R. Horton model homes also will open for the festival as well as new models from Village Mayfair, the neighborhood’s new gated rental home community.
Homes range from $290,000 to $700,000+, offering a mix of floorplans, sizes and features.
To make touring easier, two trolleys sponsored by Corridor Title, will run throughout the community, helping guests explore easily.
“We’re doing a special postcard for stamps in different models, and you’ll be entered to win a $1,000 Costco shopper card,” Robinson said. “Also, all builders will be on-site during Mayfest to answer questions and walk visitors through available homes, design options and upcoming releases.”

A closer look at Mayfair
Beyond Mayfest, Mayfair is a full-scale, master-planned community in New Braunfels centered around connection, convenience and everyday livability.
Spanning roughly 1,900 acres, the Southstar development will include thousands of homes, parks and trails, two Comal ISD schools and over 2 million square feet of commercial space.
“Mayfair’s ‘small-town modern’ brand really reflects what we’re trying to build here — an authentic small-town atmosphere that embraces New Braunfels culture and community spirit, where neighbors know each other and gather together,” Robinson said.
As development continues, Mayfair is gradually becoming a community where events like Mayfest allow residents and the community to come together and celebrate.
