This Halloween, Rice Village is bringing the community together for a festive new tradition with its inaugural Trick-or-Treat! at Rice Village event.
Designed with families in mind, the village-wide celebration will transform Rice Village into a Halloween destination where children and families can enjoy an afternoon of trick-or-treating, music, festive decor and opportunities to make memories together.
What can families expect at Trick-or-Treat! at Rice Village?
Taking place throughout Rice Village, the inaugural event will feature participation from more than 45 merchants, giving families the chance to explore the district while collecting Halloween treats along the way.

Retailers and restaurants throughout Rice Village will welcome trick-or-treaters with candy and festive surprises, creating an interactive experience that encourages families to stroll through the district and discover local businesses along the way.
To make participating locations easy to spot, each merchant will be identified with a branded Trick-or-Treat! at Rice Village window cling, serving as a guide for families as they make their way through the district.

What is happening at Morningside Square?
At the heart of the festivities, Morningside Square will be transformed into a Halloween gathering space.
Trees throughout the square will feature whimsical Halloween decor designed by Christina Milligan, creating a playful, photo-worthy setting for families to gather and celebrate.
DJ Alchemy will provide a kid-friendly soundtrack throughout the event, while the Haus Candy cart will pop up with Swedish and European candy available for purchase, adding to the Halloween fun as families make their way through Rice Village.
Where can families take Halloween photos?
No Halloween celebration is complete without a photo opportunity, and Little Party Co. will bring one of its signature installations to Morningside Square for the event.
Families can stop by in costume and capture photos from the afternoon before continuing their trick-or-treating throughout Rice Village.
