Workers are nearing completion on the second building on The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences campus, said Eric Brosch, executive director of communications.
"We anticipate that it will open in September," he said. "It's going to add about 36,000 square feet of classrooms, labs and study areas as well as a student lounge."
The two-story building will feature 12 classrooms, and the school is looking to hire several faculty, staff and administrative positions, Brosch said.
Once the building opens later this fall, the Austin location will be able to offer additional degree programs, he said.
