TxDOT announces Central Texas road closures through Feb. 10

I-35 (Hays County)

• The inside lane of the northbound access road will be closed for a half-mile approaching Yarrington Road between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Thursday.

I-35 (Travis County)

• The outside lane on the northbound access road will be closed between William Cannon Drive and Stassney Lane from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. Wednesday-Friday.
• The northbound outside lane and shoulder will be closed between William Cannon Drive and Stassney Lane from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.
• Travel is reduced to one southbound outside lane between Ben White Boulevard and William Cannon Drive from 10 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday.

I-35 (Williamson County)

• The southbound outside lane will be closed between RM 1431 and FM 3406 from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday. The southbound Exit 254 for FM 3406 will also be closed. Use Exit 256 and follow the access road and bypass lane.

Hwy 79

• Drivers can expect various closures in both directions for 1,000 feet of either side of FM 685 between 8 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday.

US 183

• The southbound access road will be reduced to one lane between US 290 and Langston Drive from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday.
• Travel is reduced to one northbound lane at Vargas Road across the Colorado River from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m Thursday.
• There will be no access to Tracor Lane and Marcel Gres Drive at northbound US 183 until further notice. Detour via TechniCenter Drive.

US 290

• Expect alternating westbound lane closures between the Bastrop County line and FM 1100 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Thursday.
• The eastbound outside lane will be closed between Kyle Drive and Berkman Drive from midnight to 1:30 a.m. Friday.
• The eastbound outside lane will be closed between Sheridan Avenue and Cameron Road from 1:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday.

SH 71

• The east-to-west turnaround at Spirit of Texas Drive will be closed until further notice.
• The westbound entrance ramp at Presidential Boulevard will be closed nightly for one month. Closures will be Monday-Thursday (8 p.m. to 5 a.m.), Friday (8 p.m. to 10 a.m.), Saturday (7 p.m.-10 a.m.) and Sunday (7 p.m.-5 a.m.). Use the next ramp at Spirit of Texas Drive.
• Travel is reduced to one lane in both directions between US 183 and Kellam Road from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday and 7 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday.

• The northbound RM 2222 exit has been reduced to one lane until further notice.
• Travel is reduced to one northbound outside lane between Enfield and Westover roads from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.
• The northbound entrance ramps from Cesar Chavez and Sixth streets will be closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday. Use the next ramp.
• The northbound 35th Street exit will be closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday and from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.
• Travel is reduced to one southbound inside lane between Lake Austin Boulevard and Cesar Chavez Street from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday. The Cesar Chavez exit will also be closed. Use the previous exit.
• Travel is reduced to one northbound inside lane between Westover Road and 35th Street from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday. The Westover entrance and 35th Street exit will also be closed.
• Travel is reduced to one northbound lane between 45th Street and RM 2222 from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday, and from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday. The entrance ramp from 45th Street and the RM 2222 exit will be closed Sunday night.
• The inside and center lanes on the northbound access road will be closed for 800 feet approaching Loop 360 from 8 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.

South Congress Avenue

• The northbound outside lane will be closed across US 290/SH 71 from 9-10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Capital of Texas Highway

• The southbound outside lane will be closed approaching Loop 1 from 8 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday.

RM 2244 (Bee Caves Road)

• The westbound outside lane will be closed between Buckeye and Redbud trails from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday.
