Hill’s Cafe, an iconic South Austin restaurant and live music venue, confirmed to Community Impact Newspaper it will close at 4700 S. Congress Ave., Austin at 10 p.m. on Sept. 12. The cafe originally  opened in South Austin 1947 and was reopened most recently in 2001. Owners could open the venue in a new location in the future. 512-851-9300. www.hillscafe.com
