On Feb. 29, the Austin ISD board of trustees named Kenton Nelson the principal of Small Middle School, 4801 Monterey Oaks Blvd., Austin, and Megan Counihan the principal of Baranoff Elementary School, 12009 Buckingham Gate Road, Austin. Nelson was previously principal of Pease Elementary School, and Counihan was an assistant principal at Baranoff. www.austinisd.org
