Code2College, a nonprofit focused on increasing the number of underrepresented students who enter STEM degree programs and fields, is holding classes twice a week throughout the school year at Akins High School, 10701 S. First St., Austin, and the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders, 2206 Prather Lane, Austin. The program provides coding education and experience along with STEM industry exposure through after-school training sessions, technical portfolio development, internships and workshops.
