Orange Coworking will open April 2 at 2110 W. Slaughter Lane, Ste. 160, offering workspace options and access to conference and meeting rooms to Southwest Austinites, owner Shelley Delayne said.
A few other coworking spaces are located in the area, but not many are located south of the river, Delayne said.
"I have a toddler, and working at home when you have a child is no longer productive," Delayne said. "And so I went looking for a coworking space, and there wasn't one [near me]. And there's lots of people around here running their own businesses or starting businesses, and it didn't seem fair that people had to schlep north of the river."
